I too passed up a race race closer to home this weekend. Instead of going to West Burlington where bad luck follows me in the form of rain, I opted for the Illini 100 or should I say the Illini 75. What attracted me there? More competition, the action packed bull ring and the friendly people of Farmer City. But make no mistake, 34 Raceway is far the better facility than little ole Farmer City and produces just as good of racing.

I made the same choice, but didn't make it till the 34-74 intersection. We missed a last lap pass, but still great racing and it wasn't short on competition. And yes 34 is a great track.

My grandfather is in town this week (from Maine) and they are leaving early Saturday. Since TW is only a few minutes from my house he wanted to go there since we will probably be home earlier. Would have rather gone to the Grove for the LLM show. Good luck by the way!

    Thanks,
    Jeff.

I like going to a track that you get covered under in dirt and it's so dusty you can't see the cars!!! And your sandwiches crunch from the dust while you eat.

I don't know about that. I've been to a few dirt tracks that didn't get any dirt in my beer and I'm pretty sure the racing was good.
