Default Shock setup and what works?

I got an 89 mustang I have been racing the last couple years. Just wondering what type of shocks everyone uses mainly the front. Not really sure because of the way it mounts up. Just wondering what kind of options I have. Thanks

On mine I use a V8 strut on RF, stock 4 banger strut on LF. Gabriel brand from autozone are cheap and last a few seasons, when they go soft, return them for a new free one, lifetime warranty.

I also use NAPA 94079 shocks on both rears. Handles awesome, your springs will make a big difference in cars handling as well.

Thanks for the response. I have a 600# for the right front and 500 for left. From what I've read that should be pretty good. I'll definitely try to get a v8 shock then.

Yeah just ask for one from an 86 T-Bird with a 302 in it. Bolts right up to the mustang spindle.
