    "FALS Fan Frenzy Weekend Details"
    The Fairbury Speedway will play host to it's first Late Model special of the year on Saturday, May 9th, as part of the #FALS Fan Frenzy weekend event. A number of Midwestern, Local, and National drivers are expected to be in attendance for the $10,000 to win, 50 lap feature race. Along with the UMP / ALMS Late Models, UMP Modifieds will be battling for a top prize of $1,000 to win, with UMP Sportsman and UMP Street Stocks both paying $400 to win. Full payouts can be found on the Fairbury Speedway website at www.fairburyspeedway.com/payouts. Event details are as follows:

    * Saturday, May 9th Sunoco American Late Model Series $10,000 to win, 50 Lap Feature, UMP Modifieds $1,000 to win 25 Lap Feature; UMP Sportsman and UMP Street Stocks $400 to win 15 Lap Features.
    *Gate Times:
    -1st Street Gate will open on Friday, night, May 9th at 4:00pm (be prepared to purchase your general admission tickets at that time).
    -Gates will remain open thought out the night for any campers or race haulers wishing to enter.
    -Campers 1st Street Gate.
    -Race Haulers 3rd Street Gate.
    -All gates will close at 10:00am on Saturday, May 9th for a sweep of the grounds ad pit area and re-open t noon for the day's events.
    * Camping for the weekend will be $30.00 per camper.
    * General Admission Tickets $25.00, Kids 12 and under FREE with paying adult.
    * Pit Passes $35.00, kids 12 and under $15.00 (anyone 16 and under must have parental waiver signed before entering pit area at any time).
    * There will be NO reserved seats available for this event. The Fairbury Speedway is currently finalizing a new reserved seating and camping program due to be finished and ready for the Summer Nationals in June.
    -ALL bleacher areas will remain closed until 1:00pm on Saturday, May 9th. At that time we will open the stands for blankets to be put down. Any blankets down before 1:00pm will be pulled and set near the closest stairs.
    * All Golf Carts must register at the secretary's office upon arrival to the fairgrounds. You must have proof of insurance and pay a yearly $10 fee. All cars will be given a FALS Cart Sticker with proper registration. Anyone caught with out proper documentation will lose golf cart privileges.
    * Tire Rule for the Event
    -ALMS/ UMP Late Models - LM 20 / LM 30 / LM 40 on any corner
    -UMP Modifieds - A40 / A40s / H40
    -UMP Street Stocks - A40 / A40s / H40
    * Fan Fueled Racing will present a $100 Fast Time award to each of the four divisions fastest qualifiers that evening. A special thanks to Fan Fueled Racing team for their sponsorship.

    No...... Other than EPJ, Erb, and BShepp. You aren't getting anymore Lucas guys. On a related note.... Smokey Mountain is gonna have a (not a nice word)(not a nice word)(not a nice word)(not a nice word) good field.

    Owens was there last year and if I remember right he said in an interview after the race he might be back next year. Even though he isn't a national tour driver might expect Satterlee to be there again this year. He had some high praise for the track last year in an interview.

    I was talking about this weekend.

    Satterlee is going to get laps before the PDC. Said that himself.

    PDC is 11 weeks away still....

    OK. Either way if the rain stays away it will be a good show. Never seen a bad race at Fairbury. Outside of Eldora I think they have the best atmosphere for dirt racing fans and drivers. The POWRi Midget show there July 11th I think is a can't miss for any diehard race fan.

    Fairbury paid Owens show up money for last years PDC. I hope they don't do that again, that race is bigger than any one driver.
