The facility is beyond ridiculous. It doesnt get better. However its in the middle of nowhere. Heaven help you keep a child occupied before the races. Unless you like to fish. Some nice lakes in area.

If you don't mind driving about 30 minutes there is a rc track in Bolivar MO that races on saturday, he might like that.

there is fishing ponds by the camping area along with a go cart track next to the race track . Cant remember what the go cart track charges though.

movie theaters are about 30 - 40 minutes away too when i get home i will look if you want to know the town. I hired a guide one year for fishing! That was a lot of fun!!!!!! I fish a lot but still really enjoyed the guide. I would recommend doing that at least once in your life time.

Bring fishing poles...in the Drag Boat Lake. We have been catching fish like crazy. There will be plenty to do. During the day you can check out the pits, drivers, cars, ect. If you get there early enough there should be golf cart rentals. But those are first come first serve. There is plenty to do, plenty of youth all ages. Im sure he will be entertained all day and night.
