Butch McGill?

Anyone know his plans for this weekend? Figure he'll be at Tyler on Saturday. What about Friday? Legendary, Elkins or other plans. Can someone more in the know fill me in as to where he normally goes.

I would expect for the 1MC to be at Legendary Hilltop on Friday. He is driving a car based out of that area. Then I would say he will be in his own equipment on Saturday at Tyler.

Who's car is Butch driving in the marrietta area? I wasn't aware that he drove any car other than his own 1mc

it's a Swartz car out of the Ripley/Ravenswood area. It's the same 88 car Chris Garnes drove some last season.

Butch had his 40 year racing anniversary last year or the year before if that tells anything

Butch started racing in 1967 making this his 48th year of racing.

Butch had the skill and just never got a break go his way. He was in Mark Richards house car on the top Stars series back in 1989. He and Mark got into a fight, and it didn’t end well. When he wasn’t the Stars series he drove for Marks Father-in-laws no. 18. Butch left the stars series before reaching the middle of the season and still finished 10th in points and the Stars driver of the year! I think after the 1989 season he went and drove for some 18 or 19 year old kid, not sure if the did or not. I moved at the end of 89
