Next Race - TBA
2024 Season: 3 - Brownstown (IN) 1, Farmer City (IL) 1, & Kankakee (IL) 1

Yes it is returning in June of 2016. The series is based out of Middleborne, wv with edge and Cody Watson with the renegades of dirt modified tour
-
That's great. Get back to me a year from now and see if thing actually goes through.
-
Cody Watson will be running the STARS series. He received the rights from Carl Short. 15 races in 3 weeks. Kind of like a mini summer nationals but in the West Virginia, Ohio, Pennsylvania area. No less than 3,000 to win races, this has me excited!
-
If they could combine the Appalachian & Buckeye speedweeks together with the Stars, it will make for an interesting series for sure.
-
Website, schedule, tracks???
-
No website or schedule yet, but the release says all races will be within a 250 mile radius of Middlebourne, WV

There was a thread started last night here in the Gossip section. It appears to be official.

I would like to see the 15 races at these 15 tracks. If they schedule it right logistically it will make a lot more sense than they way UMP schedules the Summernationals. I'm sure there are probably a couple of worthy tracks I missed.
Tyler County
PPMS
Muskingum
Lernerville
Wayne County
Hilltop (Millersburg)
Legendary Hilltop (Marietta)
Sharon
I-77
Atomic
Portsmouth
Brushcreek
Skyline
Raceway 7
Moler

Looks like a good list to me. Might add Ohio Valley.

I'd like to see the tracks close to me in an order that makes sense travel wise.
-
I'm more worried about anybody racing period in 2016.
-
awesome, nice to see someone(s) care enough about the sport to try and make something new happen.
-
Eldora is 285 miles from Middlebourne, WV that would be sweet if they could get a date.
-
I know this is dreaming, but I would like to see the finale at East Bay, like they used to!

You Notherners have it made when it comes to the Supers. We, here in the Deep South, only get to see them at Speedweeks. Quit hoggin them! lol
-
Yeah, I am pretty lucky I live 10 minutes from Atomic speedway, which hosted my favorite race all year so far for the LOLMS. Then I am 45-50 minutes from Portsmouth Raceway Park and 2 1/2 hours from Eldora. Quite a few other tracks in a reasonable distance those are just my three favorites to go to around here.
