Bobby Pierce possibly running NASCAR Truck race @ Eldora for MB Motorsports.....

Just seen on the STL Motorsports Magazine Facebook page and www.stlmotomag.com that dirt late model youngster Bobby Pierce will be racing the NASCAR Camoing World Truck Series race for MB Motorsports at Eldora Speedway.
Can anyone confirm this?

It's confirmed...cool to see him there, but don't expect a great result. Real low grade equipment compared to the top competitors in the Truck Series.

It's a POS, it won't compete with the top teams. The only drivers that run that car are ones that pay, I'm sure Bobby isn't paying, or struck a pretty cheap deal one of his personal sponsors can afford.

If I was getting ready for this race I'd try to get out there in an eldora stock before hand, seem to me most comparable

Benning made the race... Finished like 28th

and so is l the other about half the other teams when you run against RCR Gibbs ETC

they haven't even run the race yet so why would Bobby even take the ride if it's going to be that bad??

This would just be advertisement to NASCAR. Wave the flag and see who salutes. Those race teams that are looking, aren't stupid. They compare to what other drivers have done in the same ride.

Making these trucks competitive has to be a nightmare, with truck arm rears. They did it back in the day, if anyone is old enough to remember.
