CARTERSVILLE, GA – Week 11 of the 27-week 2015 NeSmith Performance Parts Street Stock Division Presented By AR Bodies season will feature eight races in four states with two races on Friday night and six races on Saturday night. The Home Tracks for all of the current NeSmith/AR Bodies Street Stock Division title contenders will be in action to keep the points tight.

Hattiesburg Speedway in Hattiesburg, MS and Northwest Florida Speedway in Baker, FL will open NeSmith/AR Bodies Street Stock Division Week 11 action with Friday night shows. Six of the Top 10 drivers in the point standings have been known to frequent Hattiesburg Speedway on Friday nights, while three of the top ten drivers are in close proximity to Northwest Florida Speedway.

On Saturday night, Duck River Raceway Park in Wheel, TN, Flomaton Speedway in Flomaton, AL, Jackson Motor Speedway in Jackson, MS, Southern Raceway in Milton, FL, Talladega Short Track in Eastaboga, AL and Whynot Motorsports Park in Meridian, MS will all be in action with NeSmith/AR Bodies Street Stock Division Week 11 events.

Richie Stephens of Salem, AL leads Brandon Harris of Molino, FL by 19 points for the top spot of the NeSmith/AR Bodies Street Stock Division point standings. Stephens will be looking for his fifth straight win and his eighth of the season in Week 11 competition. Stephens has 430 points and Harris has 411 points.

Brooks Strength of Raymond, MS has one less week of competition that Stephens and Harris, and is third in the NeSmith/AR Bodies Street Stock Division standings with 398 points. Strength will be looking for win number seven on the season in Week 11 action. Jason Jarrell of Hattiesburg, MS is fourth in the standings with 383 points.

Jay Geddie of Ellisville, MS is fifth in the NeSmith/AR Bodies Street Stock Division standings with 365 points, and Larry Faulk of Monroeville, AL is sixth with 359 points. David Williamson of Seminary, MS has the seventh spot in the standings with 354 points, and Bo Bailey of Milton, FL is eighth with 351 points.

John Smartt of Manchester, TN is ninth in the standings with 347 points, and Cliff Childers of Terry, MS rounds out the Top 10 in the NeSmith/AR Bodies Street Stock Division standings with 319 points.

With ten weeks of NeSmith/AR Bodies Street Stock Division competition in the books, the Weekly Point Average, or WPA, is the best gauge to see where a driver stands for championship consideration. The WPA is a driver’s point total divided by the number of weeks they have participated in.

Strength has the highest WPA among the Top 20 drivers in the point standings at 49.75 out of a possible 50. Stephens has the second highest WPA at 47.78. To find the driver with the third highest WPA, you have to go all of the way down to the 13th spot in the NeSmith/AR Bodies Street Stock Division point standings where you’ll find Steve Pate of Heflin, AL at 47.33.

Joel Landers of Shelbyville, TN is 14th in the NeSmith/AR Bodies Street Stock Division standings and has the fourth highest WPA at 46.17. Harris has the fifth highest WPA at 45.67, and Geddie has the sixth highest WPA at 45.63. Faulk has the seventh highest WPA at 44.88, and Kevin Mitchell of Pensacola, FL, who is 15th in the point standings, has the eighth highest WPA at 44.83.

Williamson has the ninth highest WPA at 44.25 and Michael Williams of Meridian, MS, who is 16th in the NeSmith/AR Bodies Street Stock Division point standings, has the tenth highest WPA among the Top 20 drivers in the point standings at 44.17.

Drivers in the NeSmith/AR Bodies Street Stock Division will compete against each other nationally using a points system that will count their best 14 weekly point totals over a 27-week season from March 23 through September 27. The $5,000 National point fund will pay $2,000 to the National Champion and pay back to the Top 10 drivers in the final point standings.
