Kent Robinson Back in Bloomington Victory Lane; Eldora Next

Bloomington, Indiana (06/03/15) – Kent Robinson scored his second win of 2015 on Friday night at Bloomington Speedway, where he piloted his Jones Oil #85 Elite Chassis Modified to victory.

On Friday night Kent Robinson returned to Bloomington Speedway (Bloomington, Indiana) in the #85 Jones Oil/Elite Chassis Open Wheel Modified. With 18 cars registered in the Modified division, Kent powered his Modified from the 4th starting spot into victory lane. Chad Combs, Richie Lex, John Demoss, and Bryson Clark rounded out the top five finishers.

Saturday night brought Kent Robinson to Florence Speedway (Union, Kentucky) for a Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) event. After winning in his Modified the previous night, Kent transitioned over to the Super Late Model for the Ralph Latham Memorial. Unfortunately, mechanical woes would plague the team throughout the night. Following a 10th place finish in his heat, Kent’s night ended early after he failed to make the show with a 6th place spot in his B-Main.

“Friday night couldn’t have been much better, and Saturday night couldn’t have been much worse,” laughed Robinson. “I guess that’s just the nature of the beast, when it comes to racing though. We’ll head to Eldora this weekend and look to have better luck.”
