Delmas Conley Wins Fifth Feature of 2015 in Night the Stars Come Out!

(WHEELERSBURG, OHIO) Veteran standout Delmas Conley picked up his fifth feature win of the 2015 campaign during the special 'Night the Stars Come Out' at Atomic Speedway near Alma, Ohio on Wednesday evening, June 24! Delmas laid down the quickest lap overall during the qualifying session, but later slipped back to third in his loaded heat race. After starting the 30-lap main event from the inside of the fourth row, the 73-year-old Hall of Famer made his way to the front of the field in the first half of the race before wrestling the top spot away from Duane Chamberlain shortly after the halfway mark. Delmas then drove his familiar #71 Rocket Chassis to the $4,000 victory by besting Jackie Boggs, Duane Chamberlain, Greggie Oliver, and Matt Westfall!

The other three Conley Motorsports, Inc. (CMI) drivers were also in attendance at Atomic Speedway for the unsanctioned program. Rod Conley won his heat race in preliminary action prior to scoring a solid sixth place effort in the feature event. R.J. Conley ran second in his heat race and ninth in the main event, while son J.T. Conley finished sixth in his heat race, third in the B-Main, and twelfth in the headliner. Conley will head back to Atomic Speedway near Alma, Ohio on Saturday for a weekly program, which will also pay $2,000 to the winner.
