As many as he needed. It's one of the benefits of running the whole tour. Seems fans complain about low car counts, then complain about incentives to keep car counts up. Can't have it both ways.

And one other thing is Bobby started on the front row of 1 of the races at Cedar Lake. And pulled off after 1 lap.

Where you are at in the point standings would be a good indicator.

Be hard to tell on night one... A guy could use a provisional every night for the 1st 15 stops and drop off the tour on night 16?

Usually on the first night of a series.... They have criteria already in place. Like previous years standings or national weekly standings.
Most series it's not possible to use 15 provisionals in a season let alone in the first 15 races. Otherwise John Hahler would've made every feature..... He didn't. Jordan Yaggy would've made every feature on WoO..... He hasn't.

Pretty sure all the guys that finished up in points used some provisionals...I know Babb and Feger did on more than one occasion. I'm not sure but think Moyer Jr. did too. Not a Pierce fan but the kid played by the rules and won it
