Ponderosa Speedway Presents Full Racing Program on Friday July 17

Junction City, KY-July 12, 2015- After four straight rainouts, Ponderosa Speedway track promoter Jerry Denson is set to return with racing competition at the 3/8 mile D-shaped red clay oval known as �Kentucky�s Baddest Bullring� this Friday July 17 as the track will present a full racing program for all divisions in competition.

Of note, the 15th Annual Hugh �Junebug� Rowland Memorial has been rescheduled for Friday July 24, paying $3,000 to win for Good Neighbor Pharmacy Super Late Models and the 18th Annual Pete Abell Memorial will take place the following evening on Saturday July 25, with Good Neighbor Pharmacy Super Late Models again racing for $3,000 to win.

Ponderosa Speedway will present a full racing program on Friday July 17 that will see the Good Neighbor Pharmacy Super Late Models race for $1,000 to win in a 25 lap main event. The Sweet Beans and Things Modifieds will also be in competition for $700 to win in a 20 lap contest and the Premier Integrity Solutions Pro Late Models will compete for $600 to win in a 20 lap main event. Also on the Friday July 17 racing program will be the Lawson Tractor Sales and Service KDRA Super Stocks racing for $400 to win in a 15 lap feature event and the Hardees Mini-Cup/Cyclone division will race for $100 to win in a 10 lap contest. All divisions will utilize the practice/time trials combo format to determine heat race starting positions. RACEceivers are mandatory in all divisions and transponder timing/scoring is used. Drivers will pick up their transponders at the driver registration window and drivers need to be signed in by the time of the drivers meeting at 7:00 p.m.

Activities for the Friday July 17 racing program at Ponderosa Speedway will see the pit area and general admission area open at 4:00 p.m. The drivers meeting will begin at 7:00 p.m., with practice laps set to start at 7:20 p.m., while racing will take the green flag at 8:30 p.m. All times are Eastern Daylight Times. Tickets prices for the Friday July 17 event in the general admission area will be $15 for adults, with children ages 12 and under FREE. A pit pass will be $30.
