Congratulations to Christopher Bell for winning the Eldora NASCAR truck race!!

Christopher once again showed that open wheel dirt drivers are the best dirt drivers in the country in 'bout anything they choose to drive on dirt.

We've watched Bell on dirt many times over the last 3 seasons and it was no surprise that he put a whoopin' on the NASCAR Truck regulars as well as the dirt ringers brought in just for this race.

I'll second that, grats to Bell on a pretty big win. Might end up being his "stepping-stone" into bigger and better things. Hate to lose another great dirt driver, but I fully understand where the $$ are at.

At one time, around 100 laps or so, the top 5 were all dirt experienced drivers: Bell, Pierce, Reddik, and the Dylans.

The 2 dirt kids did put on a pretty good show, glad to see it at least a little more racey there this year.

RifRaf, it really is a double edged sword.

On one hand it's great to see these kids put on such a show on the dirt tracks and all of us who are dirt track lovers would like nothing more than to have guys like Kyle Larson, Rico Abeu, Chris Bell continue to show their talent and courage on the dirt for the next 30 years. It really is sad to see them leave the dirt because in many cases they will likely be very limited in their dirt appearances, if ever.

But, on the same token, it's great that these vastly talented young dirt racers advance their careers and we can talk about how great it is that they moved up to the fame and fortune from the style racing that we most love. It's also fun to set around over a beer or two and talk about the times we watched them win and do astonishing things on dirt.
