$1500 To Win Summer Sizzler - Wartburg Speedway - Saturday, August 1st

Wartburg, TN - Monday, July 27th, 2015 - As promised, Race Director Brad Byrd is bringing some special race nights to Wartburg Speedway. The first of which will be "The Summer Sizzler" featuring a $1,500 to win event for Sexton Ford Late Models and a $600 to win Sportsman feature this Saturday, August 1st.

The Pony, Thunder and Dwarf divisions will each run for $200 to win and if enough Super Street drivers commit, we will offer a $250 to win feature for them.The Sexton Ford Late Model field will be set through two laps of qualifications and a six lap, fast car dash among the top six qualifiers will determine the top six starting spots for the 30 lap feature.

The Sportsman division will also qualify and run a fast car dash to set the top starting spots for a 20 lap feature. The Pony, Thunder and Dwarf divisions will each run heat races to set the starting spots for their respective feature events consisting of 15 laps each.

General adult grandstand admission will be $15, kids - age 7 to 12 will be admitted for $5, with 6 & under free. Adult tier parking will be $20 with kids - 7 to 12 admitted for $10 and 6 & under free. Adult pit admission will be $30, kids 7 to 12 $20. Pit and tier gates will open on Saturday at 4:00pm with grandstands at 5:00pm.
