So Nats Points?

With Billy Ogle Jr. skipping the race at Modoc but still shown as the points leader I have to assume that drivers may drop one finish or perhaps all the contenders have missed one of the first six events.

Can someone shed some light on this?

Ogle, Jr. has finishes of 1, 4, 4, 7, 11, and one "Did Not Race"

Roberts has finishes of 1, 1, 2, 5, 7, 15.

Must be some strange points system for Roberts to be currently trailing Ogle, Jr. by a point.

Correct. The teams that didn't drag back across Georgia to Modoc after the Rome rainout got rewarded for skipping Monday's race. Really hope McIntosh or Roberts win the title now.

Modoc wasn't a points race after the reschedule.It doesn't make much sense to me.

They would not have gotten my money had I known it wasn't a points race. Just saw the usual drivers from this area. Some info the series put out Tuesday refers to Tuesday's race as the sixth points race, I guess that is inaccurate.

I'm with you, LMPunk. I had to endure that dustbowl at Modoc, so should the series champion.

Looks like that Ray is taking care of the drivers with the purses that most promoters can't afford to pay on off night and then he cheats the track and fans at Modoc out of a series points race, not too good in opinion.
