UMP Hornets part of great program Fri Aug 7 at Jacksonville Speedway

It is going to be an action packed Friday night at Jacksonville Speedway. The Midwest Big Ten Series UMP Super Late Models make their second appearance of the 2015 season. The Big Ten Series has been boasting car counts anywhere between 20-35 cars this season, with the season high set just this past Saturday night in Macon. The Late Model Tire Rule is the same as we use at Quincy Raceways, which is LM 30 or LM 40 on right rear, LM 20 or LM 40 on other 3 corners. There will also be a $100 bonus to the highest finishing Pro (Crate) Late Model as well. The Midwest Big Ten Series UMP Street Stocks ae also in action for a $500 top prize. One of Jacksonville's regular divisions known for tight, action packed racing will be at it with higher stakes. Classes racing are: Midwest Big Ten Series UMP Super Late Models ($100 bonus to highest Pro (Crate) Late Model), UMP Modifieds, 305 Winged Sprints, Midwest Big Ten Series UMP Street Stocks, and UMP Hornets Tickets will be $15 for adults, $7 for ages 11-18, and kids 10 and under are FREE. This Friday August 7th, the Big Ten Super Late Model Series returns to Jacksonville Speedway for our 2nd and last Super Late Model event of the season. Also in action will be Modifieds, 305 Sprints, Big Ten Street Stocks and Hornets. Late Models will pay $1,200 to win and will be competing for the $5,000 Big Ten Series points fund. The tire rule for Super late models will be Quincy’s rule: Hoosier LM 30 or 40 on the Right Rear, Hoosier LM 20 or 40 on the other 3 corners. Grandstands open at 5:00, racer registration closes at 6:00. Hot laps 6:30. Racing at 7:00. Adult admission $15, Ages 11-18 $7, Kids 10 and under Free.
