The word around here from atleast three people with police scanner apps are saying Kevin Swindell was taken by ambulance to Knoxville hospital and then life flight to Des Moine. Still nothing said by announces or track. So this info is just hear say.

I hope he is ok. On the start of heat one Ed Lynch drove up on the burm in 4 shot right and hit Kevin. Kevin drove over Lynch's tire and landed about 15 feet up the fence, and dropped straight down. It took them 15 minutes to get him out of the car.

I left before the A Main and while walking out the front gate, the big radio with the live radio station was talking about he went to Knoxville hospital, and then he was air lifted to Des Moines.

Not sure what to make of that. It's useless to speculate at this point.

On a lighter note, the ol' veterans are runnin' pretty good this time around.

Brian Brown must have put on a hell of a show coming from 23rd to 5th. I'd have to think passing that many cars would have Brian pretty high in the points.

Cirf you are right Brian Brown is locked in to Saturday's A-Main. Donny Schatz was high point man from the first 2 nights so he will start on the pole Saturday night.

Tonight night 3 of the Nationals has two groups of 40 taking qualifying laps 6 heat races. Only 4 guys can lock into Saturday's Amain. The rest will get shuffled into the alphabet soup. Their are already 14 guys locked into Saturdays A and 10 guys locked into the B
