If you seen smoke when your grinding tires your need to change your method.
If your going a different direction and are talking about chemical treating the tires then I dont know if anyone is going to openly help ya on a forum.
If your not going down the chemical tire prep road then the best thing you can do is pressure wash the dirt/mud off them ASAP after a night of racing. Simple green also works very good if you spray it on, then scrub it with a stiff brush and pressure wash clean, then once dry grind the tires. I preferred to use a wheel with sharp screws in it and change the screws out every couple weeks. I called mine "the wheel of death", dont even let that thing get away from ya Eric
