Southern All Stars Make First Visit To Kentucky Lake Motor Speedway August 28 &29

FAYETTEVILLE, TN—The Southern All Star Dirt Racing Series will add another track to its 32 year history in two weeks as the series will make its first stop ever at the Kentucky Lake Motor Speedway in Calvert City, KY., for a pair of super late model events on Friday & Saturday August 28th & 29th. The Friday night race will be a 40 lap $4,000 to win event and Saturday night will be a 50 lap $5,000 to win event at the 3/8ths mile oval.

“This will be the first trip by the series to Kentucky Lake” said GM Lynn Acklin. “Since we announced the two race dates for Kentucky Lake we have had numerous phone calls and emails inquiring about the race. I think it will be a great weekend of late model racing as the Nesmith Crate Late Model Series will also be in action”.

Drivers that are expected to be in action include time Southern All Star Champion Riley Hickman of Ooltewah, TN., Cruise with the Champions/Dirtondirt.com Rookie of the Year contender Dillon Tidmore of Glencoe, AL., Todd Morrow of East Ridge, TN., Jason Hiett of Oxford, AL., Skylar Marlar of Winfield, TN., Chris Wilson of Crossville, TN., David Seibers of Petersburg, TN., Jason Welshan of Knoxville, TN., Jake Knowles of Tyrone, GA., and Dane Dacus of Lakeland, TN., just to name a few.

Each night of racing will consist of White Performance/Schaeffer Oil by Ed Lowe qualifying, PPM Racing Products B Mains along with feature events.
