On a side note, have you ever experienced a winter up north? If you're serious, just imagine yourself butthole deep in snow, and its still snowing and blowing and the windchill is -30 degrees and your trying to dig your car out to get to work or the grocery store. That's what the last few winters around here have been like. Just saying, I would not relocate for a racetrack, my opinion only.
It could always be worse. I went to college in North Dakota. -30 sounds like a nice early spring day up there. The day I moved after graduating it was May 10 (2013) and I believe it was -10. There were some days in January where the wind chill would be -40, or -50. The racing was spectacular but I don't think I would move back on a bet. Especially since racing season is so short up there. That is the thing about AL, they have racing from January to November.
Thanks,
Jeff.
