USCS Winged Outlaw Sprints headline Senoia Raceway USCS Senoia Summer Nationals VI on Friday and Saturday, August 21st and 22nd

Atlanta, GA – August 19, 2015 - The Fayetteville, Georgia based United Sprint Car Series Outlaw Thunder Tour presented by K&N Filters winged sprint cars make their only annual visit to Senoia Raceway on Friday and Saturday, August 21st and 22nd for the USCS Senoia Summer Nationals VI The 120 mile per hour USCS winged Outlaw type sprint cars headline the huge two-day final weekend of racing event. The series returns this weekend with excellent weather predicted to headline an action-paked two full nights of racing. The racing card also includes the 100 mile per hour www.rockauto.com USCS 600 Sprint Car Series mini sprints on both nights plus four of the track's weekly racing divisions with special events of their own each night.

The United Sprint Car Series portion of the event expects to draw winged sprint car drivers from at least six states including several of the series 2015 feature winners. Heading the entry list is is Terry Gray from Bartlett, Tennessee who is the current National points leader and a ten-time USCS National Champion. Gray is also a former Senoia Raceway USCS feature winner on dirt and pavement when the track was paved. Also entered is his 22 year-old teammate, Morgan Turpen from Cordova, Tennessee who is the only female sprint car driver expected to compete. Turpen is a six-time USCS feature winner and the top ranked female sprint car driver in the country. She currently trails Gray in the runner-up spot in the National point standings by less than 10 ponts. A number of other top drivers from the Southeastern United States are entered and looking for their first Senoia Summer Nationals win.

This year’s field of entries is expected to be the best ever for the Senoia Summer Nationals. Other sprint car entries include last years USCS Senoia Summer Nationals dominate driver and event Champion, Eric Riggins, Jr. from Charlotte, North Carolina. Riggins raced his #47 sprint car into the www.rockauto.com USCS Victory ZLane on both nights during the 2014 event.

Other entries include 2013 USCS National Champion Derek Hagar from Marion, Arkansas and Marshall Skinner also from Marion, Arkansas who is a past series Champion. Johnny Bridges from Cherryville, North Carolina who is a past Senoia Summer Nationals winner and a USCS regional series Champ is also entered. Danny Martin, Jr. from Sarasota, Florida is also anther expected entry. Martin won the series 2014 season opener and is one of the drivers in the series top ten list of feature winners.

The www.rockauto.com USCS 600 Sprint Car Series winged mini sprint series is also expected to draw entries from as far away as Charlotte, North Carolina and Columbus, Mississippi. Those entries include Two-time Champion, Bobby Zaiontz from Columbus, Mississippi Also entered is 15 year-old Brandon Taylor from Cumming, Georgia who is the www.rockauto.com USCS 600 Sprint series Rookie of the Year. This year’s Rookie sensation Remeno Loyal from Atlanta leads the point standings into this event..

The popular Senoia Raceway weekly Limited Late Model division expects to see driver entries from at least three states as most area tracks have taken this weekend off for various reasons. Popular local driver National Late Model Dirt Car star, Clint Smith who resides in Senoia is expected to borrow a ride and compete in Friday night’s Round #1. Smith recently led the track’s point standings in the Super Late Model division.

Increased bonus purses are offered in the other four Senoia Raceway weekly divisions on the schedule. On Friday night the B-Cadet, Hobby and Mini Stock divisions join the USCS Sprint Cars, Limited Late Models and Mini Sprints on the racing card. On Saturday evening the ground pounding Super Late Models, B-Cadets, Hobby and Bomber divisions compete along with the two sprint car series.

Grandstand admission prices to the event are as follows: Friday night‘s Adult grandstand admission is $15 and youth 6-12 years old is $5. On Saturday night Adult grandstand admission is $20 and youth 5-12 years are $10. Children 4 years and younger are FREE both nights. A two-night Adult grandstand admission is available for $30 that includes admission to both night’s events.
