    For me, I'd say no. I live in KS where late model racing is on life support. The closest the big names come to me is 4 hours away at I-80, but I couldn't make it up there this year, so I watched the video. Most other races are simply too far away to attend with my time/budget.

    There is SLMR which races at some closer NE tracks, but I'd rather go race myself or help my Dad with his modified than travel to see some local/regional guys race.

    cost to run a SLM has increased by 10x's over the last 25 years... but they still run for the same $1200 purses on a local level for a regular night.

    no cars= no crowd.

    the cost of the cars is what is hurting the sport.
