Building a metric car to run in a super stock class. It was previously a hobby car. Looking to get a 9 inch floater in it and need help to see what width I need. My front end hub to hub is 62.5 inchs wide that's with a 1 inch spacer on spacer on rf. Current rear is a no floater 9 inch that's 63.5 hub to hub. I want to run 3 inch backspace wheels around to save hassle and have 6 wheels already. I was looking into a 60 inch floater but was told brake calipers may hit frame rails on the Monte Carlo. Anybody have any suggestions to if this is true for stock width Monte rails? How much further in do the floater calipers sit in than a non floater of same width?
