Default Metric Monte Carlo 9 inch floater help

Building a metric car to run in a super stock class. It was previously a hobby car. Looking to get a 9 inch floater in it and need help to see what width I need. My front end hub to hub is 62.5 inchs wide that's with a 1 inch spacer on spacer on rf. Current rear is a no floater 9 inch that's 63.5 hub to hub. I want to run 3 inch backspace wheels around to save hassle and have 6 wheels already. I was looking into a 60 inch floater but was told brake calipers may hit frame rails on the Monte Carlo. Anybody have any suggestions to if this is true for stock width Monte rails? How much further in do the floater calipers sit in than a non floater of same width?

They will not hit if mounted right.

I ran a 58" on our Metric and got the caliper to clear.

Not trying to be funny but Backspace has been helping the kid who just won the UMP factory stock national title and i have no reason to believe hes not running the 62" rear end and it seems to be working! Only one car has been able to touch him. So there must be some truth to it

JNJ has the calipers mounted so they will not hit.
60 inch with long studs will allow you to run 3 offsets .
