What do you need to build a 2.3 into a 2.8 ford? Can someone give me bore, stroke of crank, which crank to use, piston pin height and who has the pistons for this besides esslinger? Please help. PM me

In my opinion, the deck height is too short to make a 2.8. Go with something like a 3.810 bore 3.650 stroke. This will still leave you enough room for a decent length rod(5.45 or there abouts)depending on piston comp. height. Engine size will finish at 2726cc and run freier then the bigger stroke of 3.785 which would come out to 2827cc

Agree with JD. I like a 3.595 stroke with the 5.7 honda rod journal 1.771 which uses an .860 compression height piston. I have a combo like this I could sell.
