Brandon Kinzer Eyes Eldora After Red Clay Bash Top Ten

(ALLEN, KENTUCKY) Kinzer Motorsports headed to 201 Speedway in Sitka, Kentucky and Ponderosa Speedway in Junction City, Kentucky on September 3-4 for lucrative races sanctioned by both the Spring Nationals Series and Southern Nationals Bonus Series. On Thursday at 201, Brandon Kinzer started at the tail of April's rain-postponed Spring Nationals main event, which boasted a $4,000 payday. Unfortunately, Brandon was struck in the helmet by a large rock during the race and retired in the fourteenth finishing position. The team then opted to load up and scratch from the $3,000 to win Southern Nationals Bonus Series program held at 201 later in the evening.

At Ponderosa on Friday night, the Bonus Series presided over the 'Red Clay Bash,' which paid $3,000 to the winner. BK ran fourth in heat race action, which lined him up starting the 30-lapper from the outside of the fifth row. At the end of the 'Red Clay Bash,' the Allen, Kentucky ace found himself right where he started... in the tenth spot. Complete results from all of these races can be found online at www.southernnationalsseries.com.

All eyes in the #18 camp are now firmly focused on the upcoming 45th Annual ‘World 100’ on September 10-12 at the hallowed high banks of Eldora Speedway in Rossburg, Ohio. The three-day crown jewel spectacular will start with a pair of Twin 25s on both Thursday and Friday, with $5,000 earmarked for the winner of each 25-lapper. Saturday’s portion of the program will once again feature heat races, consolation events, and the ‘World 100.’ A total of $318,850 will be available for “The Biggest Dirt Race in the World™,” with $48,000 going to the winner of the 100-lap extravaganza.
