Saturday September 26th , Ohio Valley is having a 5,000 to win race. Their biggest race that I can remember. Racing is typically pretty good at the Valley. What drivers can we expect? Lets get it started.

I am glad to see Ohio Valley finally run a big race but with it being non AMRA on the final points weekend of the season, I can see this race losing a few solid cars to other events, which is a shame because they have a great group of regulars who support them all season.. Some of which may have to go elsewhere.

The race is a "Gibby" promotion, so it was his choice which way to go as far as sanctioning, classes, and procedures, rather than OVS management's. With his DTRN points championships on the line, I'm sure the field will be well-stocked with local and regional "heavy hitters" in all classes. If the AMRA points-seekers go elsewhere, I wish them the best of luck as always.

AMRA only has a few decent cars anyway. It will bring in better cars than it will take away. Hawkins brothers, Dohms, and maybe Moran.
