Ponderosa Speedway Season Championship Season Finale on Saturday October 31

Junction City, KY-October 14, 2015- With a successful Fall Classic event now in the rear view mirror, Ponderosa Speedway track promoter Jerry Denson will present the 2015 Season Championship Finale event at the 3/8 mile D-shaped red clay oval better known as “Kentucky’s Baddest Bullring” on Saturday October 31. The Premier Integrity Solutions Pro Late Models will be racing for $1,500 to win in a Topless 30 event that will see the division race with the roofs removed from the race cars, along with Sweet Beans and Things Modifieds, Lawson Tractor Sales and Service KDRA Super Stocks, Four Cylinders, and Hardees Mini-Cup/Cyclones all in action in a full racing program, while Good Neighbor Pharmacy Super Late Models will have the evening off and will not be in competition.

Ponderosa Speedway will present a full racing program of action on Saturday October 31 that will see the Premier Integrity Solution Pro Late Models in competition in the Topless 30 event, a 30 lap, $1,500 to win main event, while the Sweet Beans and Things Modifieds will also be in action, racing 20 laps for $700 to win in their main event. Joining these two divisions at Ponderosa Speedway on Saturday October 31 will be the Lawson Tractor Sales and Service KDRA Super Stocks racing 15 laps in a $400 to win feature event, Four Cylinders racing for $300 to win (seven car minimum) in a 12 lap feature contest, and Hardees Mini-Cup/Cyclones will round out the racing card with a 10 lap, $100 to win main event. The Good Neighbor Pharmacy Super Late Models will have the evening off and will not be in competition. All divisions will utilize the practice/time trial combo format to determine heat race starting positions. RACEceivers are mandatory in all divisions and transponder timing/scoring is used. Drivers will pick up their transponders at the driver registration window and drivers need to be signed in by the time of the drivers meeting at 6:00 p.m. Feature event payouts will be posted in a release over the weekend.

Of note, with the Premier Integrity Solutions Pro Late Model division racing for extra money to win there will be a $40 entry fee for the division and this does include the transponder rental fee.

Activities for the racing event at Ponderosa Speedway on Saturday October 31 will see the pit area and general admission area open at 3:00 p.m. The drivers meeting will begin at 6:00 p.m., with practice laps set to start at 6:30 p.m., while racing will take the green flag at 7:30 p.m. All times are Eastern Daylight Times. Tickets prices for the Saturday October 31 racing program in the general admission area will be $15 for adults, with children ages 12 and under free, while a pit pass will be $35, with children ages 3 to 12 $15 and children age 2 and under free.
