Anyone have any info on there besides whats on the site? Like track surface, others drivers drivin, tires, etc. Lookin to travel down to the big crate race they r havin.

I don't know when heath58 was there last but they put down new clay this year and it has been pretty good so far. I am not a racer, but a spectator who has been in the area for about 1-1/2 years and I attend Southern maybe 6-8 times a year because it's close to where I live. I feel it's a racey 1/4 mile with an inside and outside groove, not very dusty on a regular night. It does get black and slick when they have additional divisions, but nothing like EAS, Whynot or Magnolia, where it's black and slick most of the time. I'm hoping for a good field of crates.
