    Default shackle angle ??

converting a 3 link clip car to leaf springs , with nothing but the front and rear suspension on the chassis ,what type of angle should the shackles be , i understand 90 degrees is a good starting point but i think that is at full weight ...just need a good starting point with bare chassis ...thanks .

90 Deg to the spring angle at ride height is where it needs to be. If its less than 90 it stiffens the rate and greater than 90 softens the rate. So no one can tell you where it needs to be right now while your building it. I would just tack the rear mount on so it can be moved when your done.

A slider set up is also an option. It may be more consistent than shackles.
