    Default 305 maxim set up?

    bought a 13 maxim raised rail ascs 360 sprint, im running as a race saver 305 sprint. are the bars different? shocks? it just seems like one night were on and the next night we are out in left field. also the car fades bad at the end of a long feature. shocks and bars are just like maxim set up sheet. any help would really be appreciated. thanks charlie

    When you say the car "fades", what exactly is it doing?

    seems like it looses forward bite. if we have a late yellow we go backwards,,

    Likely that fuel burnoff is a lot of your problem. The amount of rear percentage lost, with the tank hanging where it is, and with the amount of alcohol used is substantial. I know most sprint car guys don't scale their cars, but we do. Another thing to look at is, do you run bleeders? Crucial on sprint car tires. Another thing to keep in mind is to keep that RR warm under caution. I like to setup for the car to be ideal at the 2/3 point in the race. Do you put easy ups across the front and raise the nose before the feature? Are you blocking it to Maxims setup sheet?
