    Default 2.0 or 2.3 ???

Anyone still running the pinto 2.0? Trying to decide between that & the 2.3. Car weight 2400 lbs with driver, no roller cam, no porting or polishing, Holley 4412 with no mods, can run 5.7 rods, stock crank, Aluninum flywheel with stock apearing clutch. Been out of racing for 12 years & just trying to get some opinions. Looks to me like the lap times the're running are pretty close to what we ran back then too. I guess the only other issue would be parts. I know I can twist the 2.0 82 - 8500 rpms and be long lived. Thanks in advance for your thoughtsF-9

Yea I tried to get a weight brake, but they didn't budge. There were some drivers crying about my past 2.0's & tried to get the track not to let me run it. It's an awesome engine & won a lot of races against those 2.3's. I might have to run the 2.3 though. Thanks for your input!!

Just curious. How much better would a 2.5 be than a 2.3?

if no weight penalty it would be way better...longer stroke gives more torque
