    Default Race gas shelf life??

I have about 15 gal of race gas that has been sitting since august of 2013. Still in the cell of the car and the car has been kept in a garage, with the fuel system sealed. Getting ready to fire the new engine, and planned on putting new fuel in it, but much to my surprise, the fuel in the car looks and smells like the day I bought it. hate to waste the fuel if I can use it, but obviously don't wanna take a chance of hurting the new engine. Any thoughts/opinions appreciated, thanks!

I think most fuel companies will tell you in a sealed drum 2 years is no problem. I doubt how sealed the fuel cell could be. If the garage is climate controlled that would help it last longer. If you are running a 14 or 15-1 motor I wouldn't play with fire. If its lower compression you can add it slowly through the season likely w/o issue. I would think you could put it in at 25% ratio w/ fresh stuff. Or just put it in the tow vehicle and sleep better.

Smell it. I wouldn't worry about it.
