NeSmith Racing To Be Well Represented At The Southern Dirt Racing Expo In Perry, GA

CARTERSVILLE, GA – NeSmith Racing will be well represented at the Southern Dirt Racing Expo this Saturday and Sunday in Perry, GA at the Georgia National Fairgrounds. NeSmith Racing representatives will be on hand to meet both racers and fans, as America’s Leader in Affordable Dirt Racing will have several events this season in South Georgia.

The NeSmith Racing Souvenir Trailer will also be at the Southern Dirt Racing Expo full of new apparel, including the Official Apparel of the 100-lap $10,000-to-win 11th Annual Chevrolet Performance World Championship Race for the NeSmith Chevrolet Dirt Late Model Series that will be held on Saturday night, January 30 at Bubba Raceway Park in Ocala, FL.

Joining NeSmith Racing will be representatives from NeSmith Chevrolet, Buick, GMC in Claxton, GA, who will have the NeSmith Racing family of Chevrolet Performance Sealed Racing Engines on display and available for purchase at the show.

These engines include the $7,195 Chevrolet Performance CT525 All-Aluminum Racing Engine used in the Chevrolet Performance Super Late Model Series, the $5,795 aluminum-head steel-block Chevrolet Performance 604 Racing Engine used in the NeSmith Chevrolet Dirt Late Model Series, and the $3,495 steel-head block Chevrolet Performance 602 Racing Engine that is an optional engine in the NeSmith Performance Parts Street Stock Division.

Also on hand with NeSmith Racing will be the defending and three-time NeSmith Chevrolet Dirt Late Model Series National Champion and defending and two-time Chevrolet Performance Super Late Model Series National Champion Ronnie Johnson of Chattanooga, TN, and the 2015 Sunoco Young Guns Challenge Series Champion, 14-year-old Cruz Skinner of Oxford, AL.

In addition to the many displays in the Expo area, there will also be an auction of racing equipment at the Southern Dirt Racing Expo. On Saturday, the doors open at 11 a.m. and the auction begins at 12:30 p.m. On Sunday, the doors open at 10 a.m., and the auction stars at 11 a.m.

Georgia will be a busy place for NeSmith Racing in 2016. The NeSmith Chevrolet Dirt Late Model Series will have National Touring events at Golden Isles Speedway in Brunswick, GA and Cochran Motor Speedway in Cochran, GA. The Chevrolet Performance Super Late Model Series will visit Dixie Speedway in Woodstock, GA and Rome Speedway in Rome, GA on Labor Day Weekend.

Golden Isles Speedway and Needmore Speedway in Norman Park, GA will run the NeSmith Performance Parts Street Stock Division on a weekly basis for 27 weeks from the end of March through the end of September.
