(ARARAT, VIRGINIA) – FASTRAK Companies International is in “full throttle” prepping and preparing the final logistics for what’s shaping up to be a spectacular 2016 season. We are now excited to unveil that the FASTRAK Weekly Racing Series which is the sanctioning banner of “pro” crate late models are set to return back to the 3/10th mile facility that so many people have been begging for its return for almost 3 years. The FASTRAK Racing Series is happy to announce today that Rolling Thunder Raceway in Ararat, Virginia is the latest track to be added to the growing number of tracks all over the Country that will be a part of the new FASTRAK sanctioned track program in 2016 on Friday nights.

Plus in addition the Ararat, VA facility located just inside “The Commonwealth State” a short drive from Martinsville will be visited 2 times tentatively during 2016 racing season also by the FASTRAK Southeast Touring Division Series as well. Rolling Thunder Raceway owners Gary and Alesia Nester are in the midst of making a number of improvements as they tentatively be handling race operations again at the facility. This will be benefiting both race teams as well as race fans that’ll be visiting Rolling Thunder in 2016.

“We are a work in progress again,” says Gary Nester. “Alesia and I have always tried to view operations at Rolling Thunder Raceway from both perspectives, the race fans as well as the race teams. We are constantly assessing and evaluating. Now that it’s been a few years later since we have operated the facility and watching how other promoters have handled it we’re ready to make things right for everyone involved and having done that before I believe will help us be successful.” “Visitors to Rolling Thunder in 2016 will see many changes like the returning of FASTRAK to the facility by the encouragement of everyone to have it back.” Nester stated in closing, “I have a number of improvements that are currently underway now at Rolling Thunder Raceway for 2016 benefiting both the race teams and our race fans and we’re ready for racing to come back around for Friday nights.”

The 2016 season is scheduled to get underway on Friday April 1st tentatively and details will be announced later on the 2 special FASTRAK Southeast Touring events that are too come as well.
