Dennis Erb, Jr. Ready for LaSalle Speedway this Weekend Following Buckeye Spring 50

(CARPENTERSVILLE, ILLINOIS) The Dennis Erb Racing team returned to the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series scene on Friday evening, March 18 at Atomic Speedway in Alma, Ohio. The 'Buckeye Spring 50' boasted a $10,000 payday and attracted a stellar field of fifty Super Late Model entrants. Dennis Erb, Jr. qualified fourteenth quickest in Group B prior to placing fifth in his heat race and third in his B-Main. After receiving a series provisional to gain access into the 50-lap feature, Dennis moved up five positions during the caution-free race to earn a nineteenth place effort.

On Saturday night, March 19, Dennis and the #28 team were scheduled to be in attendance at the legendary Brownstown Speedway in Brownstown, Indiana for the annual running of the 'Indiana Icebreaker.' However, the $12,000 to win Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series spectacular was postponed to April 9 due to inclement weather. Dennis currently finds himself eighth in the latest version of the LOLMDS point standings following the 'Buckeye Spring 50.' Full results from Atomic Speedway can be accessed by clicking on www.lucasdirt.com.

With the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series sitting idle over the Easter holiday weekend, Dennis has his sights set on the 5th Annual ‘Thaw Brawl’ at LaSalle Speedway in LaSalle, Illinois on March 25-26. The American Late Model Series (ALMS), MARS DIRTcar Series, and Corn Belt Clash Late Model Series will tri-sanction the two-day extravaganza at the 1/4-mile bullring. A $5,000 winner’s check will be on the line on Friday night, while a $15,000 top prize will be up for grabs in Saturday’s weekend finale. Additional information on the lucrative ‘Thaw Brawl’ weekend can be viewed by clicking on www.lasallespeedway.com.
