Conley Motorsports, Inc. Starts Season with Buckeye Spring 50 at Atomic Speedway

(WHEELERSBURG, OHIO) The Conley Motorsports, Inc. teams lifted the lid to their 2016 racing season on Friday evening, March 18 at Atomic Speedway in Alma, Ohio. The Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series roared into the Chillicothe area to preside over the 'Buckeye Spring 50,' which boasted a $10,000 winner's check and attracted a huge fifty car field. While Delmas and J.T. Conley were unable to transfer into the 50-lap feature event, brothers Rod and R.J. Conley did put their respective #71 machines into the starting field.

Rod posted the thirteenth quickest time in Group B during the qualifying session and later grabbed the third and final transfer position through his heat race. After rolling off from the outside of the seventh row in the A-Main, "Hot Rod" eventually wound up twentieth in the final rundown of the caution-free affair. R.J. clicked off the second fastest lap in Group B during time trials before placing fourth in his heat race and second in his B-Main. The Wheelersburg, Ohio ace then worked past five competitors during the 50-lapper on his way to a seventeenth place showing. Complete results from the 'Buckeye Spring 50' can be viewed online at www.lucasdirt.com.
