the pension problems that most states are facing is the same problem S.S. on the federal level is having. those elected to run them have stolen from them over the years and kicked the ball down the road hoping the next guy would fix it but in most cases they just did much of the same and the snowball effect took over and now they have to face the music as it has crippled the states like California and Ill. among others. We the people need to stand together finally and demand term limits and recall those that get into office and do nothing but fallow along with the stealing and the under the table bribes that have taken over this country. and kick the big money out of politics for good!!
