Mountain Motor Speedway in Isom Ky. Is under new management for the 2016 season. Tony Sturgill alone with Randy Hammonds "Slim" has a lot of work ahead of them to put the legendary track back to were it was in years past. With many improvements to be done with the racing surface , lights and PA system they hope to provided a great racing facility . Mountain Motor Speedway is one of the oldest and at one time the most prestigious tracks in the state and area , With the running of the Mountain Heritage 100 with people like Jeff Purvis and a young Scott Bloomquest racing for the $10,000 to win in the early 80"s beside ever big name in racing .
