    Thumbs down Lanigan/Oneal

Yea I don't get it either about the Boyer race team. Oneal is so slow he would not make a good pace car because they would lap him before the field would take the green.

    Default club 29

I watched him hold the gas wide open down at speedweek's during qualifing ..... From the stands it looked like a fast lap .... But on the clock it wasnt .... I wish lucas would have a speed gun at the end of each straight so we could see whats up .... As a fan im lost as whats going on ....Id like to see a graph where the other cars are fast/slow .... Like ive seen on nascar qual ....

Wide open does no good if your traction is not enough to support it.

These cars, especially Bowyers are running probably right at 900 hp, in a 2300 lb car, it can spin tires at will. You cant just go out there and floor it, all your gonna do is eat up tires. Your traction level on a good track on dirt is probably 70%, maybe 75% so 1/4 of that RPM you hear is wheel spin.

Looks like they got way to much.

    Just say no...

Yeah no lift qualifying does no good, if it's not getting to the track. When you hear a car that's smooth RPM range that's gonna be a good lap. How long you hold the gas has nothing to do with the #s on the clock
