    Default 2 blade fan

Anyone running the Hendren fan, or any luck removing 2 of the 4 blades off of a 32* fan without balancing? Thanks

We're either of the applications using a shroud or just tucked up to the radiator? As for the Joe's, I have first hand proof of high rpm the blades flexing to " more " pitch and eating up a radiator. Glad it worked out for you though kwoods25

We just cut 2 blades off an allstar fan works nice. We do go back to the four blade GM when it starts getting hot because the 2 blade flirts with running hot. I am talking around end of july/august hot.I have thought about cutting 2 blades off of the GM fan to see if it would keep up during the warmer months. I would like to hear if someone has done this. Those GM fans are high dollar to be hacking up.

Again, in these applications are you guys using a shroud or just leaving it open?

We run a good shroud, fan half in half out pretty tight circle. Also we have the nose ducted in to direct air straight to the radiator. It has 2 sides and a a piece that bolts to the bottom of the nose and curves up to the top of the radiator.

Took a four blade and cut it down, cut the front blades so it had like a gusset over it. Balanced with a lawn mower blade balancer. With no shroud on an open motor it only had issues on hammer down races. Most nights fine, with a good shroud I don't anticipate many issues on any night.
