Cory Hedgec ock Enjoys Two-Win Weekend; Talladega Next

Loudon, Tennessee (4/25/16) – Loudon, Tennessee's Cory Hedgec ock enjoyed a great weekend of racing in his home state by topping a pair of feature events in his familiar #23 Late Model.

Cory returned to the driver’s seat of the Eagle Racing Engines #23 B1 by Brucebilt Steelhead Late Model at I-75 Raceway (Sweetwater, Tennessee) on Friday for a weekly racing series program. Recording the second fastest time in a field of ten cars, Hedgec ock earned a front row starting spot for the feature, starting alongside Jason Manley. Working his way to the front, Cory picked up his sixth win of the season with Jesse Lowe and Josh Fields trailing him across the finish line.

With Volunteer Speedway (Bulls Gap, Tennessee) rained out, Cory Hedgec ock made the last minute decision to visit 411 Motor Speedway (Seymour, Tennessee) on Saturday night, where he competed in the Steelhead Late Model division. With 22 cars signed in, Hedgec ock posted the third fastest time in qualifying. Battling back and forth with Trevor Sise for the lead in the A-Main, Cory pulled away in the final laps reeling in his seventh win of the season with Sise, Jason Welshan, Jason Cardwell, and Dakotah Knuckles rounding out the top five.

“This new B1 by Brucebilt was on spot all weekend,” said Hedgec ock. “I want to thank my sponsors, crew, and fans for their great support. Without them these wins would definitely not be possible.”
