    - Sanction fee is $4,500.
    - If you've never had a lucas race at your track you have to prepay the sanction fee and purse up front prior to the race.
    - You have to have enough room for their two haulers and the driver's t-shirt trailers.

Other than that, not much. Of Course, they have a contract with a bunch of legal jargon but nothing outrageous. Really easy to get along with. First class operation.

Years ago it would cost you $80,000 to have the World of Outlaws sprints at your track. Obviously that included the purse too. I have no idea what the figure is now

I believe it's still around that, and the late models are a little cheaper.

Beats me. It's my understanding the the sanctioning fee is significantly more than that.

It seems like there may be a little confusion about what a show costs.

The $80,000 WoO Sprints number includes the purse and sanction fee.

The $4500 mentioned would be the sanction fee alone with no purse.

That still puts the santioning fee for the WoO sprints at 20k+. The late models are in the same neighborhood. I'd have to believe that Lucas is in the same range.

    You guys are killing me.

Lucas Sanction fee is $4,500. Purse including sanction fee is like $48,700 or something close to that. Depends how many cars you have.

WoO Sanction Fee is almost double that. Similar Purse.

WoO Sprint Cars sanction fee is $25k plus purse which totals about $75k+

I don't know about driver entry fees, but I'm sure they do, I'm not involved on that side of the equation.

I remember hearing a few years back that the WoO Late Models sanction fee was $10,000 + purse.

Do the tracks get 100% concessions or do the series take a part of that as well?

I know the WoO sanction is more. Didn't mean to be misleading. Was trying to answer the specifics that were asked. WoO LMS is basically $8500

Unless it is a lease situation where the sanction is leasing the track, the track keeps all ticket and concession money. At least that is all I have ever heard of in the DLM world.

For the Lucas shows, who pays the show up money for the top drivers, track or Lucas? The 4500 wouldn't even cover that would it?

All purse money is the responsibility of the track, unless the series is leasing the track. A sanction fee is basically used to go toward points money, advertising, pay for staff, etc.

I believe that Lucas covers their Winners Circle (show money) through sponsorship.

Correct, unless the show is added after the ad budget has been depleted, or normally the official schedule has been released, then it is the tracks responsibility.
