Daniel Baggerly Wins Heat Race; Winds Up Eighth in I-95 Challenge Series Stop

(RURAL RETREAT, VIRGINIA) The B&B Motorsports team pulled through the pit gate on Saturday, April 23 at County Line Raceway in Elm City, North Carolina. The I-95 Late Model Challenge Series hosted the show at CLR and a $2,500 payday was on the line. Daniel Baggerly, who was armed with a 525 engine in his CVR racecar, struggled a bit during qualifying on the hooked-up racing surface to post the fifteenth quickest lap, but later rebounded to score a convincing heat race triumph.

After starting the A-Main from the inside of the second row, Daniel raced hard for the second spot early in the distance until he was hit hard by another competitor. "Bagz" stayed on the racetrack even with the heavy damage and soldiered on to place eighth in the final rundown. Full results from County Line Raceway can be viewed online at www.countylineracewaync.com.

The #16 team will take the upcoming April 29-30 weekend off from racing action. While their next scheduled event is not until late May, Daniel and the team are currently scouring schedules to find a race date before then.
