R.J. Conley Dominates Charlie Floyd Memorial Benefit Race at Southern Ohio!

(WHEELERSBURG, OHIO) R.J. Conley, of Wheelersburg, Ohio, scored his first victory of the young 2016 racing season on Friday evening, April 29 in the 'Charlie Floyd Memorial Benefit' race at the nearby Southern Ohio Speedway! R.J. earned Fast Time honors in qualifying for the AMRA/STARS Late Model Alliance show and later took the win in heat race action. After starting the 25-lapper from the pole position, R.J. led each and every circuit en route to the emotional $2,000 triumph over Stephen Breeding, Kevin Wagner, Mark Frazier, and Robbie Lewis! Complete results from Southern Ohio Speedway can be obtained by clicking on www.southernohiospeedway.com.

“Last Friday was a special win for us because of how close we are with the Floyd family,” quoted R.J. this week. “Charlie was a great kid and I was fortunate enough to know him for virtually his entire life. It was a terrible tragedy what happened to him, but the dirt racing community has really rallied around his family and I would like to thank everyone for that support!”

Conley Motorsports, Inc. plans to tackle a couple of different venues in the Buckeye State over the upcoming May 6-7 weekend. On Friday night, Rod Conley will invade Legendary Hilltop Speedway in Marietta, Ohio for another AMRA/STARS Late Model Alliance event, which pays $3,000 to the winner. Delmas and R.J. Conley will then join Rod on Saturday evening at Atomic Speedway in Alma, Ohio. The 8th Annual ‘Dan Reno Memorial’ will be held at the track formerly known as K-C Raceway and a $3,622 payday will be up for grabs.
