Default Highs & Lows of Racing

Two weeks ago Gregg Satterlee was on top of the world after winning at Hagerstown beating the Lucas guys, last night he was a DNQ against the WoO in Tennessee. Dirt track racing is a tough sport, makes you appreciate the Moyers, Bloomquists, Richards, etc who always seem be in the mix on a weekly basis, no matter what level of competition. I guess that is why we all love the sport.

I think that was Satterlee's first trip to Smokey Mountain Speedway. Alot of great cars there last night and several guys got lapped that you hardly ever see it happen to. 2nd place on back had some great racing, Steve Francis had a good run.

Another high- low example. Ferguson destroys his car. Thinks he will be sitting on the side line for a while. The team thrashes to get a new chassis together and he goes out and wins right away in the new car. Countless stories each week, throughout the country, about drivers being a "peaco*k" one week and a "feather duster" the next. It is what makes Dirt Late Model racing so great in my opinion.
