52 years since any kind of championship was won in Cleveland, Ohio !! I guess that old saw about "Even a blind pig can find an acorn in a mud hole on some days" still rings true !!

Yep, the last major sports championship won by a Cleveland franchise was the old Cleveland Browns who won the NFL Championship way back in 1964. That franchise is now the Baltimore Ravens. The guy that many consider the greatest running back of all time, Jim Brown, was one of the biggest reasons the Browns won the NFL Championship in '64. Brown played 1 more season following that '64 Championship and retired while at the top of his game.

Its common knowledge that if the city of Cleveland would have given back all that Art Modell had given to the city he wouldn't have had to move the football team out of there in the middle of the night to Baltimore where they promptly won a super bowl !!!!!!!
