    Default 1.94 0r 2.02 valves in low compression bmod motors

    looking to upgrade my 882 headed bmod motor to better heads. looking at WP s/r heads and i can get them in either 1.94 or 2.02. which is better and why? 10-1 compression, 2701 intake, 4412 carb, 550 lift cam. running on big 3/8's mile track.

    vortec is not legal in USRA BMODs. only 76cc smog heads, WP sr, Dart SS or eq heads. Thats it. Same as IMCA sportmods.

    The Dart SS heads should kill all the other cylinder heads. The EQ might be close but the combustion chamber of the Dart SS head is way better than the rest. If you can run 2.02/1.6 in the Dart SS that's what you will want.

    If it's imca I think the dart is only legal on the mopar.

    Does Dart even make a Mopar head? Most tracks/associations wont let the Mopar's run a 20 year old truck head much less a race head.
