Preston Seratt Takes Clayhill Checkers; Busy Weekend on Tap

“It took a little time, but we’ve finally got this new Bandit Race Cars lined out,” noted Seratt. “It’s coming at a good time too because we’re getting ready to start burning up the highways and hitting some big events.”

On Saturday night Preston Seratt returned to Clayhill Motorsports, wheeling his DC Electric Rebuilders #29 Open Wheel Modified in a weekly racing series event. After capturing a heat race win, Preston earned the pole position for the feature. Hanging on to the top spot for the duration of the caution-plagued A-Main, Seratt notched his second victory of the season with Matt Cooper, Lucas Lee, Greg Welch and Hunter Wilbanks trailing him across the finish line.

The Memorial Day weekend will take Seratt Motorsports to the Land of Lincoln for a pair of Summit Equipment American Modified Series events. Action opens on Friday night at Farmer City Speedway (Farmer City, Illinois) with a $1,500-to-win event before shifting to Fairbury American Legion Speedway (Fairbury, Illinois) on Saturday night for a $2,000-to-win affair.
