Kinzer Motorsports Eyes Spring Nationals Stop at Boyd’s After Sixth Place Effort

(ALLEN, KENTUCKY) Brandon Kinzer and his #18 team invaded Crossville Speedway in Crossville, Tennessee on Saturday evening, May 21 for the 'Plateau 50,' which marked the first Super Late Model special at the facility in over seven years. The Southern Nationals Bonus Series presided over the dirt-slinging action and a $5,000 payday was on the line.

Brandon clicked off the third fastest time in Group B during the qualifying session prior to scoring the victory in his consolation event. After starting the 50-lapper from the outside of the third row, BK drove up to the fourth spot before losing a couple of positions late in the distance on his way to a strong sixth place effort. The Lexington, Kentucky driver trailed only winner Donald McIntosh, Mike Marlar, Cory Hedgec0ck, Shanon Buckingham, and Billy Ogle, Jr. to the checkers. Full results from Crossville Speedway can be accessed online at www.southernnationalsseries.com.

The Kinzer Motorsports team will head back south over the Memorial Day holiday weekend to compete in a single show in the Peach State of Georgia. On Friday night, May 27, Boyd’s Speedway in Ringgold, Georgia will host the Old Man’s Garage Spring Nationals tour. A $4,000 top prize will be up for grabs in the 40-lapper tomorrow evening at the Chattanooga-area facility.
